There's something for everyone...

Enjoy the stunning views Llangollen has to offer whilst out and about. The Panorama is just a short ten minute walk from our park and has trails and paths including the Offa's Dyke and a trail leading up to the historic Dinas Bran Castle.

If you are feeling energetic then there are a range of activities to keep you on your toes. Llangollen Outdoors offers rafting in some of the country's best white water. This is a popular group activity along side kayaking and canoeing. Mountain biking has become even more so popular with the introduction of a downhill track. The Llangollen Canal has horse drawn boat trips and the path leads to the iconic Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in Trevor.

The Llangollen Railway offers a trip on an operational steam locomotive to the nearby town of Carrog.

Llangollen town has many eateries and bars to choose from. Our favourites include The Corn Mill, Gales Wine Bar and The Llangollen Oggie Shop for a gourmet snack. Grab a bargain from many of the towns independent retail stores.

We are also within walking distance to Llangollen Pavilion where the Eisteddfod is held and lots of popular bands and musicians often play here. In Llangollen there is also the opportunity to have a day out on one of the horse driven canal boats.

If you are looking for family days out, we are a short half hour drive to Chester Zoo, fifteen minutes to Ty Mawr county park, Chirk Castle, and Erddig national park.
